Outings Escort

We are a small, local charity that organise outings for older people that live in and around Petersfield. The outings are a chance for people to see and experience fresh things outside of Petersfield in the company of others. All trips are in our minibus with a volunteer driver. 

We are looking for volunteer escorts to accompany the driver to various places throughout the year - half days and full days to places of interest. 

Your role is to support the driver, chat to clients, assist those with limited mobility, or other disabilities such as sight  or mild memory problems, and generally contribute to a sociable and enjoyable outing for all.

You will need to have a warm and friendly nature, and be physically fit enough to get on and off the minibus and walk with clients. 

This is a lovely role as you are enabling people to have an enjoyable trip out.

Enjoy talking to older people and have a generally caring and patient nature.
