Catalogue Assistant for Museum's Computer-Based Collections

Fordingbridge Museum is a small local museum, run entirely by volunteers. The Museum's collection covers the social history of the area for the last 150 years. The Museum has recently moved its collection catalogue to eHive, a web-based collection cataloguing system. It is used to catalogue objects, store images, manage acquisition information and publish the collection online.

As well as adding new items to the catalogue, the transferred entries all need checking and to have photos added to them. With over 7000 entries, this is a huge job to be shared by a group of people. It is expected to take years to complete.

Times can be flexible to fit in with other commitments.

The Museum needs several new volunteers to work on the catalogue. Please feel free to encourage a friend to volunteer with you.
