The Lead Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate volunteer help for adults who live in the area that the Group covers by taking client details and requirements and matching clients who are needing transport support with an appropriate volunteer. They will also be responsible for recruiting new volunteer drivers, new Co-ordinators when necessary, composing annual statistics and providing a Co-ordinator report at the Annual General Meeting.
Duties
Recruit new volunteers and organise the associated administration
Take client details to enable transport on a rota basis
Risk assess client initially and on an ongoing basis
Match a client with a volunteer according to need and availability
Deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive material
Report any concerns/issues to the Group Safeguarding Representative/Chair
Be sensitive to the needs of a volunteer and client within this role
Attend 3 Committee meetings per year plus the Annual General Meeting
