Older Persons Admin Support (New Forest - North)

Helping Older People New Forest (HOPe) pioneered a free information and advice service for older people in New Milton area over six years ago. We now want to repeat this in the Ringwood/Fordingbridge area and need someone to help us make our vision a reality.

Working with our coordinator You will deal with enquiries, find out what needs to be done then make it happen or point the person in the right direction. Some of this work will be on the phone, some of it in client’s homes.

This is a brand new role that you will be able to shape and develop so it is an exciting opportunity. Naturally full training will be provided.

There's lots of information on our website and facebook page about what we do so please have a look.

Skills

  • You will be organised and preferably familiar with older people's services in the area.
  • Whilst we will provide full training it will be helpful if you are comfortable with financial and administrative matters.
  • You will be very comfortable working on your own, dealing with telephone enquiries and visiting people in their own homes.
  • As you will expect, a calm and confident manner is essential.
