Home Library Service - Winchester Library (The Arc)

Would you like to make a difference by taking books/audio books to people in their own homes?

Home Library Service volunteers help once a month by selecting books from their local library and visiting customers to exchange them, This service is for anyone who can't get to their local library due to ill health/mobility issues or caring responsibilities.

As a volunteer for the Home Library Service you can enhance somebody's life not only through the library materials that you take for them, but also through your companionship and contact you give them with the outside world.

Good friendships have developed out of this service and we very much hope that this will be your experience too.

• A warm, friendly and approachable manner.

• Ability to drive with access to a car is of benefit.
