This customer facing role plays an important part in supporting access to Hampshire's Library Services and is a great way of giving something back to your local community. As a Library volunteer you will become a valued member of the team, helping customers to get the most of their local library and making a positive difference in people's lives.
You could get involved with our events and activities, assist members of the public that are using our services or help with the processing and maintenance of our library books and resources for loan.

Skills
Who we are looking for:
- Regular branch volunteers must be aged 16 or over, however we do accept younger volunteers for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Summer Reading Challenge - please enquire for more information.
- Enjoys engaging with people and supporting others.
- Can interact with members of the public with confidence and enthusiasm.
- An ability and willingness to maintain a safe environment.
- A personal interest in reading is recommended.
