This is a great opportunity for anyone with gardening skills and a love of the outdoors.
We are a care home for elderly residents with frail health and/or dementia. We have a courtyard garden which the residents love to use but find hard to maintain. The residents would love someone who has a passion for gardening and is willing to work mostly on their own with some help from the residents when they are feeling up to it. We also have a driveway and some other areas which need some love and inspiration to make them more inviting. At the moment we have a raised bed, lots of pots of plants, some hanging baskets and wall boxes. Some staff and residents also like growing vegetables and it would be lovely if this could be developed into a proper veggie plot.
