As a Butterfly volunteer, you will be providing comfort, company and support to patients who are actively dying in our hospitals and also helping to provide support to families and friends. Sitting alongside a dying patient can mean that they do not die alone. This also gives families and friends the opportunity to take a break, knowing that their loved one is not left alone.
