Would you like to make a real difference in your community?
Stubbington and Hill Head Voluntary Care Group is run entirely by volunteers. We help members of our community, who are primarily elderly, and need transport to any type of medical appointment in the local & surrounding area. We also offer a Befriending service.
We need additional Coordinators to join our team and deal with transport bookings. The more Coordinators we have the less often everyone is on duty.
You can work from wherever you like as, when you’re on duty, you would be answering calls on our Mobile phone. Coordinators work for 1 or 2 weeks at a time (your choice) and cover the hours 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. Full Training and support are provided. You should ideally live in or around the Stubbington & Hill Head area, as Coordinators handover the records at the end of their duty.
Our service is greatly appreciated by our clients. Helping our clients can give you a great sense of purpose and the chance to talk to new people. You will be joining a very friendly and helpful team.
