About
The Air Training Corps is a national youth organisation, for 12 - 20 year olds, with almost 1000 Squadrons across the UK. 2428 Squadron is one of the 21 units in Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
We offers activities such as instruction in aviation studies; first aid training; fieldcraft skills; Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme; cyber skills; radio communications training; ceremonial drill; adventure training and sports. Young people benefit from experiences that develop their confidence, self-discipline, responsibility and consideration for others, teamwork, leadership and other skills.
We are always looking for adult volunteers to help run and support these activities, working with our cadets and other volunteers. All adults will complete an Enhance DBS check and induction training. No previous cadet or military experience or experience of youth work is needed.
