We support "hidden" members of our society that have been affected by criminal trauma in some way. These are mostly family members and friends of offenders, who often feel isolated and can lose their support networks through the action of someone else.
AFFECT is a non-judgmental organisation and we will support them for as long as they need, either over the phone or in person, where required. We are based in Hampshire, focusing in the South of England and provide a telephone service across the UK.
AFFECT is looking for Befrienders, Supporters and Counsellors, as well as Trustees to join our friendly volunteer team. We provide a full induction, ongoing supervision and volunteer expenses. Interviews take place via Zoom.
