Are you passionate about supporting young people to thrive? Do you have a few hours to spare each week? If so then this could be the opportunity for you!
We are looking for Youth Team Members for Thursdays, 3.45pm-6.15pm or 6.15pm-8.15pm. These roles will require you to interact with young people aged 10-16 and parents/carers/guardians as required. You need to be 16 or over with a passion for engaging with young people, aiding their development and achieving their potential. Some understanding of the issues faced by young people today, youth cultures and context would be helpful.
As part of the team you will help with the setting up and packing down of the equipment and activities; engaging with young people who attend in conversation, activities and discussions; and share in the delivery and cleaning of the kitchen and tuck shop. All relevant training including safeguarding provided, DBS checks will be undertaken. No previous experience required.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team in a community project delivered by the Salvation Army in Fordingbridge.
Skills
