Wellbeing and Lifestyle Volunteers - Hartwood House, Lyndhurst

Hartwood House is a care home in the centre of Lyndhurst, providing residential care and dementia care 365 days a year. We are looking for volunteers to come to chat with our residents, take part in activities or drive our minibus.

Being a volunteer with us is a rewarding experience for people of all ages and our residents really benefit from the social interaction during their daily lives.

We are currently looking for:

General Volunteers to come and talk with our lovely residents.

Activities Volunteers to come and work alongside our activities team.

Mini Bus Drivers - who have experience of driving minibuses so that we can take our ladies and gentlemen out for short journeys.

Skills

We are ideally looking for people aged 14 plus who feel a connection with older people living in care and who feel able to make a regular commitment to interact with our lovely residents.

Ideally we are looking for people who have a range of skills that they can offer our residents either in person centred visits of working alongside our Wellbeing and Lifestyle Team.

We are also looking for people with skills to drive our minibus and enable us to take residents out to explore the wider community.
