Thanks to a partnership between the New Forest National Park Authority and Day Service Provider Flourish in Nature, we can offer FULLY SUPPORTED opportunities for adults with additional support needs to join Conservation Volunteer teams and be a part of the care of the New Forest. This is FREE to attend.
Volunteer Days take place three times a month, generally Wednesdays or Thursdays (occasional weekends). Dates are advertised by email (let us know if you'd like to be on the mailing list) and on our social media.
If transport is a problem, let us know and we will try to help.
Flourish in Nature operates using a welfare van, with toilet and respite facilities and the possibility to provide transport. Staff are experienced and qualified support workers. We can offer an introductory meeting to learn about you and the best way to support you.
Personal care can NOT be provided. A carer is welcome to come along.
Come and join the lively and thriving volunteer community in the New Forest, learn new skills, find out about the special nature of the New Forest, and enjoy spending time outdoors!
Skills
No previous experience is needed.
Full support is provided to take part and enjoy the activities.
