Join Us at New Forest & Hampshire County Show!
Tue, 28 Jul 2026 08:00 - Thu, 30 Jul 2026 18:30 (morning & afternoon sessions available each day).
Do you enjoy the countryside or feel passionate about rural life? This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, meet new people, and make a meaningful difference. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join the RABI stand, helping us engage with visitors and raise awareness of our vital work supporting farming people.
About the Role
As an Event Volunteer, you will play a key role in representing RABI at a busy agricultural show. This is a welcoming, public-facing role, perfect for someone who enjoys conversation, community, and giving back.
You’ll only need to give four hours of your time, making this an ideal volunteering opportunity even if you have a busy schedule. In return, you’ll receive free entry to the show and the chance to be part of something truly positive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting visitors to the RABI stand in a friendly, approachable way
- Chatting with members of the public about RABI and how we support farming people, raising awareness of our services
- Introducing our Farmers Aid App and encouraging downloads
- Guiding visitors to further information, resources, or staff where appropriate
- Encouraging engagement, such as mailing list sign-ups or fundraising activities (where applicable)
- Working alongside fellow volunteers and staff to keep the stand welcoming and well-presented
You’ll receive full guidance on the day and ongoing support from a volunteer event lead or RABI staff member.
