Money Mentor Learning Assistants & Support Money Mentors

Our project aims to improve money skills for young people, families and the over 50's. We want to give everyone the chance to take control of their finances … something that many of us avoid and an area where there has been very limited learning opportunity. Our project seeks to change that, by offering everyone in the local community a quick, simple learning programme, plus the chance to access our skilled advice team.

We are rapidly growing, working in partnership with a number of local community organisations and schools. We want to create a local volunteer team covering quite diverse functions, whom we can invest in and train:

  • Publicity and PR
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing people, to be involved in a busy and lively community project publicity role.
  • Circulating posters and course information around a developing local network.
  • Publicity stands at local events and community locations.
  • Money Mentor Learning Assistants
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing people, to support our Money Mentors at scheduled learning events for school children and/or adults.
  • Supporting our Money Mentors running training/information sessions at local community locations, such as colleges, clubs, community centres libraries etc.
  • Supporting our Money Mentors running sessions at local schools, in a classroom environment as part of curriculum activities.
  • Support Money Mentors
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and capable people, to work with our Money Mentors, co-delivering scheduled learning events for school children and/or adults.
  • Co-delivering with our Money Mentors running training/information sessions at local community locations, such as colleges, clubs, community centres libraries.
  • Co-delivering with our Money Mentors running sessions at local schools, in a classroom environment as part of curriculum activities.
