“Meet and Greet” Volunteer at Alton Child Health Clinic

The Hampshire Healthy Families 0-19 service is a partnership between Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Barnardo’s. We are looking for friendly people to volunteer at Child Health Clinics.

We need dedicated volunteers to support in Child Health Clinics (ran by Health Visitors) in a “Meet and Greet" role – Talking to parents as they arrive and promoting our service and health messages

We are seeking volunteers to support with the following clinic:

Bushy Leaze Centre, Eastbrooke Road, ALTON, GU34 2DR: Wednesdays 11.00am – 12.30pm

Skills

Do you have:

• Good listening skills with a caring approach;
• Patience and friendliness?

Are You:

• A ‘people person’ who is positive and encouraging;
• Open-minded and flexible in your approach;
• Willing to input your hours into our online volunteering system each time you volunteer;
• Happy to provide satisfactory references and for Barnardo’s to complete a DBS check before you start your role?
