Hello. Our social club committee is looking for a new treasurer to join the team. This is a voluntary role. It is a great opportunity to support the club behind the scenes. Our current treasurer will be happy to chat with anyone interested about what the role involves and will continue to support you, as you get started. More about the role…
Most tasks are straightforward - some are simply ticking a box or sending an email. Responsibilities include:
* Recording weekly takings
* Completing reconciliations using the Xero Accounting system
* Collating staff hours and liaising with our accountants for payroll
* Paying wages
* Handling ad‑hoc payments
* Completing quarterly tax returns
* Completing quarterly gaming returns
* Providing a monthly financial update to the social committee (We meet once a month on a Wednesday evening).
