Home Library Service Volunteer - Fareham Library

Home Library Service Volunteers help by selecting books/audio books from their local library & visiting local customers to exchange them. The service is free and for those who find it difficult to access a library due to mobility issues, ill health or caring responsibilities.

As a volunteer for the Home Library Service you can enhance somebody's life  through the library materials that you take for them, your companionship, and the contact you give them with the outside world.

We ask all our volunteers to commit to a minimum of one visit per month for at least 2 and up to 5 customers. The date and time of the visit will be agreed between the volunteer and the customer.
