Explorer Lead Volunteer (Oakhanger Scouts)

Oakhanger Scout District - East Hants are are looking for two Explorer leaders to be based out of a Scout HQ in Headley, Hampshire, Our Explorer volunteers are passionate about giving young people a voice. They're encouragers, supporting young people to pursue their interests and push their boundaries.

Our Explorer Scouts are 14-18 year olds who meet each week on Thursdays from 7.30-9.30pm. They take part in adventurous activities, local conservation projects, creative projects, camps and expeditions. They make friends and learn skills for life.

Skills

This role would be a great opportunity for someone with or looking for experience in teaching, outdoor activities, youth work and leadership. 

Experience in Scouting is welcomed but not a requirement as we offer training and support.
