We have an ongoing programme of digitisation and cataloguing our huge photograph collection.
We need someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to catalogue the items accurately to help with this. The photographs date from 1860, and cover all areas where the Regiment served, at home and abroad. Some of the subject matter may reflect ideas which were prevalent at the time, and are no longer acceptable.
This role would be working with the Digitisation Officer on Wednesdays.
There are some steps leading to the office, and so unfortunately, this role would not be suitable for someone with mobility problems.
Skills
Computer literate.
Interest in old photographs and scrapbooks.
Good standard of English language for cataloguing.
