Admin Volunteer

We currently have a vacancy for a volunteer Admin Assistant to work in our friendly central Winchester office on Fridays from 9.45am to 2pm.

In this role you will: 

• complete an introduction to Citizens Advice and training for your role.
• help with the day to day running of the Citizens Advice Winchester District service.
• process incoming and outgoing client emails, post and messages.
• proof read documents before sending to check for mistakes.
• print and scan documents using a printer.
• update spreadsheets and databases.
• other ad-hoc admin duties as may be required.

Skills

You should be IT literate with good admin skills/experience. Above all, you'll need to: 

• be friendly and approachable.
• respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own.
• be a fast learner and have excellent attention to detail
• be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection.
• be willing to undertake training in your role.
• be able to work from our central Winchester office (role is not suitable for remote working)
