As part of National Volunteers Week, Winchester City Council are hosting a Volunteering Fair for staff. The event aims to raise awareness amongst Council employees about volunteering and encourage them to consider how they can use the 3 volunteer days that they have as part of their employment with Winchester City Council.
Would your organisation or community group like the opportunity to attend this event to promote the work of your charity and advertise specific volunteer opportunities that council staff could sign up and commit themselves to during the year?
The two dates for this event are the 7 June and Thursday, 9 June from 11am-2pm. The event will take place in the Guildhall. Two dates have been offered to ensure this opportunity is available to as many staff as possible.
If you would like to attend, the organisers would like the opportunity to meet with you before the event, to better understand the types of volunteering opportunities you have on offer.
