Whitehill & Bordon invited to give back at Volunteer Fair

Anyone interested in giving back to their community is invited to an attend our upcoming Whitehill & Bordon Volunteer Fair, where you can connect with local charities and groups, and learn about the volunteering opportunities in the area.

The fair will be held at the Forest Community Centre in Bordon on 19th November 2025. It will showcase the many ways people can make a difference, from supporting families and older people to helping animals and local projects, and celebrate the incredible work being carried out by charities and groups in the area.

Organisations attending include Homestart Hampshire, The Hunter Centre, University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust, Southdowns National Park Authority, Alton Tennis Club and Green Banks Care. Cllr Andy Tree and Cllr Adeel Shah will also be in attendance to represent Whitehill Town Council.

Tim Houghton, Chief Executive of Community First, said: “This fair is a fantastic opportunity for people, of any age, who want to make a difference in their community to meet organisations that rely on volunteers to do what they do.

“Volunteering benefits everyone – it strengthens communities, builds friendships and gives people a sense of purpose. We hope to see lots of people inspired to find their ideal volunteering role.”

The Volunteer Fair will take place from 1pm until 4pm. Parking is available on-site.
