Wessex Cancer Trust is launching the first Cakes4Cancer this summer, and would love you to be involved!
From June 27th – July 3rd individuals, companies and community groups will be holding bake sales across the region, raising money to help the Trust to provide practical and emotional support for people living with and affected by cancer in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.
You can order a free fundraising kit from our website, so why not get baking and selling to help make a real difference. There are a couple of recipes in the pack to help get you started if you decide to go for the home-made touch, as well as lots of exciting bits and pieces to help you plan your event. If you don’t fancy baking yourself, you can get treats donated, or go for shop-bought goodies for your sale, so everyone can get involved! There will be a competition running through the week, with the most creative bake winning a fantastic Soap Cake, so you can show off your amazing creations – just use the tag #Cakes4Cancer on Twitter or add them to: www.facebook.com/WessexCancer.
