On 16th July Community First’s Leigh Park Community Centre opened its ‘Park Play’ and Café.
Park Play offers preschool stay and play sessions from Monday to Friday. It’s full of role play toys, soft play, crafts, games, books, a baby corner, and ride on toys perfect for 0-5 year olds.
Come and join us. We are looking for volunteers for our brand new play area
It’s a varied role, enabling you to get involved in a new project and assist in the day-to-day running of Park Play.
Tasks include providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers, volunteers and staff, assisting with the set-up of equipment and preparing and supervising craft activities. The role is flexible and dates/times can be agreed with you.
Why not come and visit the Centre and have a look? One of our current volunteers commented: “What a wonderful day, a great time had by all the children, was lovely to see them having such a great time. They played house, played at the tool table, bit of crafting done as well. The children loved it and so did I.”
